     The Cecil County Office of Economic Development and Cecil County Chamber of Commerce, and literally dozens of community volunteers, have conducted over 100 tours for members of transitioning work forces from New Jersey, Virginia, Delaware and as far away as California and Arizona over the past two years. Our citizens, many of whom have chosen to move to Cecil County from far flung locales, love the county and their individual towns and are happy to share what they know. 

     Visitors, both businesses looking to relocate or people looking for a great place to live, can virtually meet our volunteer guides on-line and contact them electronically providing dates you are interested in visiting our county to arrange for a tour.

     We still plan on conducting motor coach tours in future and the Cecil County Office of Economic Development will continue to offer private tours, as well, but this feature has been developed to help bring volunteers and those in need of their services together easily and conveniently.

     We have included a, "Request a Tour," section to our website to allow local volunteers to sign up offering to provide free tours to our many visitors who are considering moving to Cecil County. Any volunteer for Cecil County can sign-up to provide tour services as long as there is no compensation required for their tour.
